Water Analysis.
I'm buying a home.
You are buying a home with a well? Your bank requires a Potable Water Certificate? You will need to do a bacteriological water analysis that confirms the water is potable. Just pass by the store to pick up a sampling bottle and instructions. You can also pass after hours since we keep bottles with instructions available in our doorside mail box.

Also, it is advisable that you consider doing the physicochemical water analysis as well to determine the mineral content. This will provide you with a full appraisal of the long term effects on your home.

Bacteriological Analysys -
70$ taxes included:  Special bottle and instructions available at Technic-Eau. Call: 450-565-8408.

Physicochemical Analysis -
45$ taxes included (clean bottled water type container).

Physicochemical Sampling at the Kitchen Tap.

Use a clean bottled water type bottle of 500ml to 1.5 litres. The more your water has obvious problems the bigger the bottle required since some analysis can take up to three days to observe.

If your home does not have any filters or water treatment systems.

1) Remove the screen at the end of the kitchen faucet and run the cold water only for five minutes at full open. Rinse your bottle and cap twice. Fill till full to avoid any air pocket.

If your home does have one water treatment system like an iron filter or a water softener.

2) After the first sample is taken as per #1 you need to put the water treatment unit on bypass and let the water run for at least three minutes. Rinse your bottle and cap twice. Fill till full to avoid any air pocket.

If your home does have two water treatment systems like an iron filter and a water softener.

3) You need to first identify the order in which raw water passes on of your systems first and second. After the first sample is taken as per #1 which you have markered as "treated", put the second unit on bypass and run the water for at least three more minutes then rinse twice and fill your bottle and mark it "2nd bypass". Then put the first unit on by pass and run the water again for at least three more minutes then rinse twice and fill your bottle and mark it "2nd & 1st bypass".
Always fill the bottles till full to avoid any air pocket.

Bring in your samples and we will open up a file for your home. You can also leave the bottles at our front when passing earlier then 9:00Am and call in your information to open your file.
Problem Water; tinted yellow, foul
smell, stains, bad taste,
bacteria.
Water problems are real and show up at different levels of severity so it is impossible to know those levels just by the area you live. You should never purchase any solution without the proper analysis, interpretation, sometimes after a first visit by ourselves to do a few speciality checks. These may or may  not be required but in the end the outcome will enale us to build the perfect match for your water and home so it lasts and lasts with minimual upkeep.

At Technic-Eau, you are dealing with the owner so no big commissions and we never oversell. We are here to preserve your best advantage at all times.

Our goal is to provide you with a water treatment solution that will render it safe and pleasurable to use for all domestic activities, without compromise and without the exorbitant sales pitches.

Our business relies on our competence to not only analyse and provide proper methods, but we develop a long term relatioinship with our clients lasting decades. This same relationship provides us with a good level of new clients via word of mouth. Yes the tried and true method of old still resounds in our era of modern communication methods.

Let us put our expertise to work for you because you deserve great water.
Problem with my system
Water Treatment Systems deploy a wide range of methods and work hard to produce each gallon or litre of water you use in your home. So depending on these factors you may require some attention to the method in order to preserve its performance.

In the coming months we will put up some ways for the home owner who may be the most proficient in their own system to make sure performance remains steady.

I many cases a yearly service call is not warranted because of the lower mineral content of their well water. Some basic rules. If a sulfhur filtered water starts smelling again or if you filled the salt bassin of your softner and a months later the level has not gotten lower, these are some concrete situations requiring attention. We can do general check ups on a yearly basis.

For clients who live much further then our reach, certain simple repair methods can easilly be accomplished by the home owner needing to be water quality self-sufficient.

To get things rolling, either we can plan a visit to take samples or in most cases our clients prefer to stop off at the store with two water samples, one treated then one raw water. This will tell us exactly how the system is doing and how we should intervene if required. Sometimes we can fix problems on the phone with the client.

With all the info in hand on the water quality plus your system method, whatever we propose it will always be based on what is more advantageous for the client in terms of long term durability and performance. Sometime we detect oversold systems with too many methods being redundant and will recommend how to correct this. we have seen all types so we know each well has its own story, its own quircks and so methods need to work within some slim variations to work well and long.
I bought a house with an unknown system.
I bought a house with
one of your systems.
Congratulations on your new house purchase. It takes a lot of living to make a house a home and we wish you all the success during the oh so mellow transition.

You can call us with the former owners name and address and we will see if we have anything already on file for that address.

If we do not have a file already, we say the system is an "Orphan System" and will require two or more water analysis to get an idea on why the system is in place and how they are performing.

Please refer to the section "Water Analysis" shown above on how to perform such water sampling.

If you stop off at the store, please try to take several pictures of your system so we can better identify them in your file for when the water analysis results are ready.

Sometimes systems are left unattended for months during the home sales period and may require some hands on attention by us to start them up again and make sure it performs to spec. Just give us a call and we can set up a service call.

One call can do it.
Congratulations on your new house purchase. It takes a lot of living to make a house a home and we wish you all the success during the oh so mellow transition.

You can call us with the former owners name and address and we will change the file to your name and preserve the history on file.

If you need some help figuring out the usage of the Water Treatment System in the basement, expecially when this is your first time on your own well water supply thus dubbing you as your one and only water authority, let us know how we can help.

Usually once you have settled in for two months or more, it may be a good idea to pass by the store with two water samples, one treated and one raw. This wil enable us to see if your water consumption was greater then the previous owners and if so how to change the system programming to reflect those changes and to keep your file up to date.
